Receive what the client delivers
It goes into a warehouse of its own, with the delivery note. That is the starting point you will account against.
EntryYou receive the material, hand it out to your crews, and each crew logs on the phone what it used at each job, with photos. When the job closes, delivered, used and returned add up without a spreadsheet.
Agile teams work faster with Sytex

Today, without SytexA spreadsheet with delivered and used, and at the audit whatever you cannot prove is deducted from the invoice.
With SytexEach crew logs what it used at each job, and the closing comes out of that.
Receive, hand out, transfer, and have the crew log what it used. Nothing more to start, and when the job ends the numbers already add up.
It goes into a warehouse of its own, with the delivery note. That is the starting point you will account against.
EntryEach crew carries its own stock, so you know what is on every truck without calling anyone.
MovementA transfer between warehouses or crews is one record, with who sent it and who received it.
MovementOn the phone, at the job, with photos. Whatever is left goes back to the warehouse, and the job adds up on its own.
Return
Every serial keeps each movement, tied to its delivery note and to the job where it was used. What you used is proven with the crew’s photos, not with a spreadsheet.
If five go out and four are installed, the fifth goes back to the warehouse or shows up as a difference on that job, before the client finds it.
A count at the warehouse or at the site checks item by item what is really there, so you know whether the gap is a loss or a job not yet certified.
Operators, energy, mining and oil & gas buy their own material. Each job has its list, and each line compares the date it is needed with when it will arrive.
Each line compares the date it is needed with when it arrives. The one that will be late shows up at risk, and the search lists every job with a line at risk.
Every serial keeps each movement, the crew checks item by item what arrived, and leftovers go back to the warehouse from the list.
Material is reserved for the job before the crew goes out, and each crew and technician carries its own stock, so everyone knows what is on the truck.
The project
The material
The project moves task by task.Solar plant · Block B, from the survey to the acceptance.
The survey closes, the next task opens. The process knows what comes next and who does it.
Engineering creates the material list. The task asks for a BOM, built from the template with the site as its destination.
While the permit moves, the material gets ready.Free stock is reserved and only what is missing is bought.
Installation asks for the shipment. The material operation comes out of the BOM, one line for each line still to ship.
The job closes with its material accounted for.Leftovers go back to the warehouse and the cost stays with the project.

One line per material, with its quantity and the date it is needed. It comes from the template for that type of job, and once approved, any change goes into a new version.
The list shows the free stock in each warehouse. What is there is reserved for this job, and the purchase proposes only the units nobody has covered, so nothing is bought twice.
Each line compares the date it is needed with when the order or the shipment arrives. The inverter was going to arrive four days late; there were four free units in the South warehouse.
Every shipment is a material operation that hangs from the list. On site, the crew checks each serial on the phone, and stock moves when the receipt is confirmed.
When the list is adjusted to what was used, the difference shows up as material to return, and it goes back to the warehouse from the list itself. The cost tab shows what the job’s material cost.
What changes from one industry to the next is the catalog and what is traced by serial. The list per job, the reservation, the shipment and the return work the same way.
ONTs, routers and splice closures by serial number on each technician. Every installation discounts what it used.

Each crew logs on the phone what it used at each job, with photos, as a material operation tied to that job. The client’s material sits in its own warehouse, so for every job you can show what was delivered, what was used, what went back and what is still with the crews.
Yes. You start with your warehouses, each crew’s stock and the catalog of the material your client hands you. Quotations, purchase orders and the job’s material list are added only if you need them.
Day to day it is four moves: receive what the client delivers, hand each crew its material, transfer between warehouses, and have the crew log what it used. Every move leaves its delivery note, so you stop loading the same thing in three spreadsheets.
It stays in that crew’s stock until it goes back to the warehouse or gets logged on a job. If it does neither, it shows up as a difference on the job before the client’s audit finds it.
Each line of the job’s list compares the date it is needed with when it will arrive, counting the purchase order, the stock in each warehouse and its shipping days. A line that will not make it is flagged at risk while there is still time to reserve or buy.
No. Material codes match the ones in your ERP or your client’s, and purchases can stay there. Sytex follows the material in the field: what each crew received, used and returned on each job.
We show it with the material your client hands you and a job you have running today.
